We are into Paper Crafts, Needle & Yarn Crafts, Fiber Artist, Altered Arts, Art Journaling & Book Arts, Jewelry Making, Stamping, Quilting, etc!
Most crafts are welcome!

What is this all about?

I would like to invite you all to the MONTHLY crop of the Dallas Crafters Marathon.  This is a great space for crafting, to see pictures of the space check out our website www.dallascraftersmarathon.com

Who are we? We are a group of crafty people that like to craft together and share ideas, it's that simple. We are not Direct Sales Consultants who have classes at our Meetup to promote sales.
Why did we start this Meetup? There are very few crafty stores in our area that can hold a group of crafters and still have room for our supplies AND not be crowded. We simply wanted to craft with other like-minded people, NOT be cramped.
Why the location? Put simply, it is available to us and we feel lucky! This is a large facility, 4000 sq. ft.
Why ask for money to crop? The money for this Meetup goes to the lessor for rent / attendance fees. It is NOT about profit for us. 

How long does this last? This event lasts from Friday (6pm to Midnight) Saturday (10 am to Midnight) to Sunday (10am to 3pm). You may leave your projects overnight if you wish. Some events may start at 10am on Fridays.
What do you get? A six foot table (there are two large round tables that two persons could share if needed), folding chair,  lounging couch, kitchen with 3 full size fridges, microwave, coffee pot, bathrooms and soda and snacks for a small fee on the honor system (you may bring your own if you like). You will also meet wonderful crafty people to share ideas and projects!
Who can attend?  We are open to adult men and women crafters above the age of 15. We can accommodate quilters, sewing groups, stampers, scrapbookers, jewelry makers etc! We can comfortably fit 54 crafters with their supplies on a 6' table.

How much does it cost?  There is a small fee of $25 for this event; you may reserve your spot by Paypal-ing
 via our Meetup.com site (be sure to include your name). You may also send us a check, email dcm@dallascraftersmarathon.com for the address.  If you register at the door the fee is also $25; but your spot is not reserved.  Again, all fee’s go to the lessor for improvements to and letting us use the space.

What do I need to bring?
  Bring your projects and supplies to work on.  If you plan on painting or doing a messy project, please bring something to protect the tables and carpet. We have electrical outlets and extension cords. Bring a cushion for your chair, or if necessary a comfortable computer chair.
