DCM 2015 Announcements!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

The Organizers of DCM would like to wish you all Happy Holidays and thank you for a great year in 2014.  We are looking forward to a crafty fun 2015.  We do have a few announcements to make for 2015 as follows:

While we have worked hard to keep our fees the same since we began this meetup in 2011; due to rent increases, we must make a few small increases. 

The Single day fee for Saturday will be $20 beginning January 2015; the single day fee will remain $15 each for Friday and Sunday only registrations.

Space rentals for Craft/Quilt events will be $150 per day and will include the Large room only.  Since an Organizer must be present to open the doors; the Organizers will use the smaller "Registration" room as we see fit while the Large room is rented out.

Now, on to the fun stuff… 

In 2015 we plan to organize a Flake Free Card Swap for Paper Crafters on a Monthly basis.  These will continue as long as participation permits.  See the Meetup group for details. Participation is not required but encouraged!

We would also like to do something similar with the Sewers/Quilters, please give us some suggestions on what you would like to see.

Also in 2015, we are planning to add themes to our events to make them a bit more fun.  These events will be on regular DCM weekends and will not be a higher fee. Participation is not required but encouraged!

We have added thermal curtains to the larger room to prevent passers by from looking in as well as to help with climate control.

Thank you all for your participation, friendship and crafty fun times! We are looking forward to 2015 and beyond!

Octoberfest Festivities Update!

Hello DCM Crafters!
Octoberfest is quickly approaching. The coordinators spent some time this week sorting the door prizes, raffles, main raffle and attendee gifts and goodies!

Looking forward to crafting with you all! We are providing lunch and dinner. Possibly some donuts on Saturday morning :)
